Next, check your doors and windows for leaks. Pests such as ants can feel the warmth and will sneak their way in through the cracks. Standing water is also something to look out for as it can not only attract pests but can also cause mold and mildew.
Finally, when it’s time to put your Christmas decorations away, be sure to check for gnawed wiring, droppings, and bit marks, and/or holes in wood and boxes. These are all signs that you may have a rodent problem and it’s time to call an exterminator.
